R&D Senior Finance Manager

Susan is the financial lead for R&D finance function with responsibility for ensuring it is financially sound and sustainable to support the key short, medium and long term business objectives. This includes development of activity, costing and financial modelling; financial policy and strategy; and provision of financial management information to support strategic decision making.

In addition, Susan is also the financial lead for the Wessex Vaccine Hub, a partnership of 13 NHS organisations who are delivering research across three dedicated sites in the Wessex region.

Susan is also founder and chair of UKRD Finance Managers and sits on many national and regional groups.
